Blue Vase Medium

This is a beautiful vibrant blue porcelain vessel made using the artist’s innovative proprietary crystal glazes. These unique glazes are created by incorporating oxides and crystals, which never react quite the same way and allow for endless variations. The vase’s traditional shape and proportions enables the colourful and luminescent patterns created by the glazes to take center stage. In this one-of-a-kind  crystalline vase, the organic shapes and saturated sapphire coloration created by the glaze makes the vase appear almost liquid, like water. The swirling patterns are reminiscent of clouds or water drops. A ceramicist based in Prague, Milan’s work has been widely exhibited internationally, and is included in several major collections including, for example, the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague and the Grassi museum Leipzig.
